Ferries have long been an important means of transportation in what is now Mammoth Cave National Park. This vintage photograph shows a vehicle going across Green River via ferry over 80 years ago.

In an effort to preserve this iconic transportation tradition for continued service in the 21st century, upgrades to the Green River Ferry will begin on July 22, 2019. The project will be completed by November 15, 2019.

Have they started moving in to start the project? A confirmed start date this time??

Hows that Houchin Ferry holding up?......

You leaking sewer pipes could be fixed by using duel containment pipe and man holes in the spots where they are located threw the park so if one pipe leaks the other one catches it
